And you know who knows this better than anyone? Yours truly, lol!! I'll tell you what, the amount of time and effort we put into our cars has a direct correlation with our success on the track. But let's not get sidetracked here.
Today, I'm taking my new Audi No Prep Kings Build for a little tune-up. We're hitting the dyno to see where we can make some improvements. Every second counts when you're racing, and we're not taking any chances.
This is just the beginning for my Audi. We've got a lot of testing and tuning to do before it's ready to dominate on the track. But today is a special day because it's the first time you really get to hear this ProCharged beast in action. And let me tell you, it's a monster.
We're putting everything we've got into this build, and the dyno is the final test to see if we've got it all right.

Oops, typical man... I like to jump right in and start working and building away. I have installed a ton of superchargers from my partners at ProCharger over the years, but this case is a bit different.
I have a customer that just bought a brand new 408CI Henson Racing Engine that he wanted me to put in his daughter's truck that she races in a Juniors program. Super cool, and thought it would be a fun little project. It's got a turbo 400 transmission in it already and a Quick Performance 9" rear end.
Well, just like any shop project, you are always missing parts or have the wrong parts. If I would have just followed the detailed instructions from ProCharger on their supercharger kit, I would have realized that the engine already had the wrong water pump and a few other parts were missing, which ultimately stopped the project and the job. The moral of the story is to read the instructions. You might learn a thing or two, LOL! Hope you enjoy the video and this cool little hot rod truck we are building.

In this vlog, I drop an exclusive on what I will do with Goliath. Make sure you listen and pay very close attention ;) I also take you through some behind-the-scenes of the new Monte Carlo build for Street Outlaws and a few garage projects. 2023 is going to be a crazy year, and I have so much to share from my new race car, shop projects, Street Outlaws, No Prep Kings, and a bunch of new merchandise and apparel.

Whelp, my S10 has been pushing coolant, so Jason Wheeler and I started ripping my favorite twin turbo S10 down to pull the heads and see exactly what kind of damage has been done and how quickly we can fix it before heading out to race and film Street Outlaws vs. LMR (Late Model Racecraft). This is definitely all part of racing, and at the end of the day, there is nothing better than being in the shop working on projects with friends. Hope you like the episode.

This time, we head to NPK in Alabama to see what Goliath was going through at the time and you get to take a look at things from my perspective. I hope these sort of videos help to shed a new light on the things that you might not have seen.
Coming into the event, I was ready to roll with a fresh motor after dealing with some issues. For all intents and purposes, this probably should've meant that I would be clear sailing to a successful and issue-free race, at least when it comes to what's under the hood. However, as accidents happen, yet another engine issue would hold Goliath back from operating at its full potential due to a bit of human error.
Fortunately, it was pretty early on after a couple of grudge passes that the issue was discovered. It happened that the wrong intake valves got ordered and put into the heads that were currently on the new engine. However, after working through the weekend, the crew and I would get everything sorted out and use some backup heads to go to work when push came to shove for the eliminations.
By following along below, you get to check in with me to go for a ride with the vlog that takes us through the weekend from top to bottom. At the end of the day, sometimes, mistakes like this happen. When you have the perseverance and will to win like I do, though, you find where the good become the great.

No Prep Kings (NPK) Ohio, was straight-up chaos! It seems like the problems have been following me from Street Outlaws NPK Tucson to Colorado and ended right here at the track in Norwalk, Ohio. Have we broken everything on Goliath? Sure seems like it! When you are pushing these cars as hard as we are, you seem to find any weak point pretty fast! Broken superchargers, broken rear ends, electrical issues, burned-up valves, burned-up rings, you name it! We have some good footage for you from test passes, the Great 8 race vs Jerry Bird, and the Invitational race against Boddie.
]]>
This time, though, you get nothing more than raw action and a lot of it! While being filled in and learning all that you can is definitely an interesting endeavor, sometimes. Simply listening in as these big tire no prep machines scream with all eight cylinders of glory.
This is definitely a "speakers up" kind of video for those who enjoy the sounds that these cars are capable of. During the video, not only do you get to see Goliath throw down but you also catch up as the car and I go up against a couple of familiar faces in Ryan Martin and Justin Swanstrom. I didn't add any commentary like normally to this one, but I sure hope you like it.

Well the cat is out of the bag! Go behind the scenes with me so I can show you what I've been hard at work on. You're going to see exactly what I've been up to. I am building up the Monte Carlo for the new Street Outlaws OG 405 Show and it's going to be a blast. Let's just say I am going to spills the beans on exactly what is going to be done to the car.
To the SS, the idea is to go with an LS-based ProCharged combination, so I teamed up with the crew over at Thompson Motorsports to build the new LS Engine that I'll be dropping into the Monte Carlo.
We stopped by the shop to do a tour, check out the production facility, all the engines, parts, and process behind their operation and most importantly... Picking up the new winning engine ;) Also wanted to tell you a couple other fun facts, it's also getting a built turbo 400 transmission, air conditioning system, and more! Tons of build footage coming your way.

We frequently see the end product and don't think twice about how exactly it is that this product came together. However, after seeing the process for yourself, I think that many of us will gain a new appreciation for the wheels that sit beneath race cars sporting RC's wheels.
In the tour, you get to see how exactly it is a wheel goes from raw materials to the gorgeous finished product that we see on cars at tracks across the world. You also get some info about how the company started off as a motorcycle wheel brand and eventually built its racing presence to the point where about half of its business comes from drag racers nowadays. Lastly, we get to see just how quickly the turnaround is which kind of has me impressed. When including the likes of chroming and anodizing or whatever other finish one might want, it's impressive just how fast these wheels can be pumped out.
I guarantee you will really enjoy this, I never get the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the blood, sweat, tears, and technology that go into making components I put on my race cars. This was so cool, thanks for watching!

For those who are more detail oriented and really curious about what's going on behind the scenes, this is an opportunity to dig deep and see my trials and tribulations that I go through before I am able to roll up to the line on race day. It certainly isn't as easy as rolling up, doing a burnout, and going wide open throttle, lol!
I have some new in-car and POV footage from No Prep Kings (NPK) Houston. I feel like we are getting our feet back under us now that we figured out the ground wire issue with Goliath and we had some good runs to start digging through the data. We are heading in the right direction and I can't wait to get the car sorted and get back on top!
While being filled in and learning all that you can is definitely an interesting endeavor, sometimes, you just seem to want that pure action and the sound to go along with it. In the video below, I take you to No Prep Kings in Houston where you can watch as Goliath soars down the track.
This is definitely a "speakers up" kind of video for those of you that enjoy the sounds that these no prep cars are capable of. Those who have spent a considerable amount of time under the hood of a car know that sometimes troubleshooting can be a tough deal. This is the case on everything from a common street car all the way up to a complicated race car. Naturally, with a finely tuned machine like Goliath, there is a lot more going on that could possibly go wrong which could make getting to the bottom of an issue even bigger of a challenge.
Unfortunately, this was exactly the case that would drag me down for quite a period of time on the No Prep Kings circuit. Well, I was having great success when NPK hit New Hampshire and was the car to beat... This is where things started to go wrong.
During that event, I found some cracks in my Zoomie headers. From there, I sent the car to a fabricator to get the headers redone and get Goliath back together and ready for action.
It was during this time, though, in fabrication prep, I unhooked the battery and after the car was done being worked on, not everything got connected again. While taking full responsibility for the incident, one important wire was left off for my FuelTech Spark Box. While the ground wire wasn't necessary for the car to run, it was important for the car to operate at high rpm and under a high load. During these times, the motor essentially shut half of its cylinders off which caused a pretty big issue.
Follow me along as I explain to you how I had to fight hard for three events to get to the bottom of this issue. In the meanwhile, I was also dropping from third in points all the way to sixths and it drove me and my crew absolutely crazy.
Down in the video below, you'll learn just how challenging simple issues can get along with seeing the spread of bad luck in action at NPK Brainerd, thanks for watching!!

One of the things about being fast is that it's not just one and done. Instead, you always need to be constantly working on your car and improving if you want to maintain status atop of the pack. This is the tough part that involves the hours of grinding and thousands of dollars spent. This grind is even true and very real for every racer.
Come with me as I take a little trip to get Goliath in the best shape that I can possibly can. In order to do that, it's off to FuelTech to get a bit of time on their dyno to diagnose and see where there might be some room for improvement. Every fraction of second matters on race day, after all.
This time I also relive my tangle with the wall that had Goliath down and out for a bit. This would be quite the blow but fans know that it wouldn't be out for long. In fact, as the effects of COVID still linger with supply chains nationwide, it seems to have moved much faster with the car than parts companies could manage to send parts out.
When all was said and done, the dyno would be the big test at the end of the tunnel to see if everything was exactly as it should be.
Down in the video below, join me as I join Anderson Dick and company as they tinker with yet another monstrous machine over at FuelTech.

For those who have ever raced on a professional level, you can likely attest to the fact that this job is more than meets the eye. It isn't as simple as being a badass driver, showing up, and hopping behind the wheel... but being a boss in the cockpit certainly helps.
For those who are casual bystanders, perhaps racing on a professional level looks like a dream job with no challenges. After all, what most folks end up seeing is what happens on race day. Sure, there might be a mechanical challenge here and there but to the untrained eye, things look like they are all easy breezy.
In reality, though, things aren't always so simple. In fact, we'd say that it's rare that racing on a professional level is straightforward.
Instead, in order to maintain a professional racing operation, there is a ton of work invested behind the scenes. Not only do racers have to worry about maintaining their vehicles. They have to worry about all sorts of peripheral items that a lot of folks just simply never think about.
Here's a small taste of what exactly that means. In this particular vlog episode you get to see what it takes to get ready for No Prep Kings Season 5.
Not only does this mean some last-minute updates for Goliath, but a ton more. It also means maintaining the tow rig, swapping out a new trailer, and doing things like preparing merchandise for the upcoming events.
In other words, let's just say that this is a full-time job and then some. Sure, it might be the dream job of a lifetime but there are definitely a lot of sleepless nights and long hours of preparation that go into maintaining a top-notch racing program.

Maintaining a car that is heavily modified is simply something that is easier said than done. Not only are there countless hours in the garage required to keep these racing machines up to par, sometimes it also means taking an impromptu road trip that might just eat up a couple of days as well.
Welcome to the next vlog! As I am getting ready for No Prep Kings season five which is right around the corner, I hurt the engine racing on Street Outlaws: America's List. As is the case flipping from one event to the next in such a quick fashion, I needed to have a quick turnaround on getting this engine back up to full health once again so that I can be on top of the game.
This time, take a trip with me over to ProLine to have my engine fixed up and then stop over at FuelTech as well to see what they have going on.
I've always love going over to FuelTech because I never know exactly what I am going to find or what they're up to. This time, supercharged LS swapped dually, the first-ever 8-second C8 Corvette, and a turbo Opala that will absolutely blow your mind.
By tuning in with the video below, you get a look at some rides that are not only incredibly fast but also pretty unique as well. These aren't just machines that you're going to see rolling around at any old race track or car meet, check it out.

One of the things that we can't help but love about the car community is that it's not about the finished product all the time. Sure, making use of a car that has a lot of hours in it can be nice but sometimes, it's about hanging out in the shop and the experiences that we have together that really make us think fondly of the community as a whole.
Remember, it's about the journey, not always the destination.
In a recent drop from FarmtruckandAZN, we get a little bit of a dopamine boost from being able to join in with some garage hangs. In this particular video, we check in as team FNA adds a very simple yet essential tool to the mix in their shop.
In this case, we're talking about a new shop chair. It might seem like something simple but at the end of the day, going out and making sure that you address these sorts of needs can definitely end up making the job go by much more smoothly.
Down in the video below, we get to join in on the fun as it's a simple hang-out until Daddy Dave joins in on the unboxing video and that's when the laughs really get rolling.
In the clip, we also get a line on what might be a new essential piece for the garage nowadays as Farmtruck and AZN show off their new Vyper Industrial Shop Chair. Working on cars and breaking your back isn't necessarily something that everybody wants to do so maybe with an addition like this, you won't have to.

I picked up a pretty clean Silverado that I got a decently good deal on a little while back. Not 100% sure what I am going to do with the truck but I could end up giving it away in the future but first, I am going to give this thing a little bit of a high-performance treatment.
One of the first performance modifications that I plan on throwing at the truck is a ProCharger supercharger system under the hood. With a stock 4.8L engine and ProCharger P-1SC, the truck probably won't be a killer of worlds but fun. However, just because it isn't going to make the most power in the 405, I am still pretty excited that it will be making the ProCharger whining noises and still have some fun on the streets.
By following along with the video below, you get to check in with the most recent purchases and go behind the scenes to see exactly what i've been up to.

At some point or another, if you race for long enough, there's a good chance that you're going to end up breaking some things or everything. For those who are fortunate, the breakage will come few and far between and hopefully won't rack up the dollar signs that quickly.
However, if you're competing on Street Outlaws, when something breaks, there isn't a very good chance that it's going to be cheap to repair. Instead, most of the components of these cars put in place to lay down massive horsepower and are likely going to be something that would make most folks' eyes pop.
Unfortunately, the next one up to bat to deal with breakage is none other than me, LOL! As I tell you, I am definitely not one that's going to take it easy on my components. Therefore, every once in a while, I really put a part through its paces to the point where it just can no longer function.
Most recently, the subject of discussion was at the heart of the build... Goliath. That's right, during the recent filming of Street Outlaws: America's List, I managed to push too far and grenade the engine. When an engine fails under the hood of one of these cars, it's something that nobody wants to deal with. However, there can definitely be a silver lining if the engine failure didn't take out a whole bunch of other things in the process.
Unfortunately for me, that simply wasn't the case as this particular engine failure ended up being one that did a substantial amount of damage given the situation. Down in the video below, I take you through the tear-down that shows the extent of the damage and what all is going to have to be replaced before Goliath can get out and race once again.

Street Outlaws definitely has an incredibly rigorous filming schedule. This schedule alone is one that most folks probably couldn't keep up with. However, when we throw in all of the maintenance and time spent wrenching in the garage in the equation, things get even more intense! This doesn't even include the talent necessary to operate in the drag racing world, LOL!
Follow along as I take you behind the scenes for a little bit of testing action. The goal of this video is to get in as much testing as possible for Street Outlaws: America's List. Unfortunately things come up that provide a bit of a challenge when testing.
I talk a little bit about the testing struggles and some breakage that I went through. Things like this are not fun time for those picking up the broken pieces but persevering through them is definitely one of the elements that are necessary in order to make your way to the top.
Check out a little bit of in-car and out-of-car footage that shows what happens during testing. In addition, I talk about how exactly I correct some of the problems that pop up when trying to keep things together.
Sure, race days are the most exciting and it could be interesting to talk about who made the best licks on the track for the day. However, it's times like these where races are truly won and lost.

While some casual observers of the Street Outlaws may think that the competition ends with what we see on the screen, they are mistaken. Remaining competitive is actually a duty that we have to take head-on pretty much every day.
I have to give Ryan Martin credit, he's so good because when he's not competing, he's testing and when he's not testing, he's competing. Competing on this level is simply not something that racers can do casually and expect to win.
This time, I give you some insight into that idea as to its put in motion.
In this particular vlog video, I take you behind the scenes coming fresh off of a No Prep Kings season that was particularly challenging. Ive really been hustling to keep the operation together as I unfortunately wrecked last summer.
I manage to get the car back together and go all the way to the semi-finals where I would end up losing to Ryan and the Fireball Camaro. Even after the hustle to get the car back together there's no time to rest.
So here in this video I dig into his Proline Hemi after just over 100 passes on most of the engine. Sure, No Prep Kings was most certainly a marathon. However, there's very little time before heading into season two of Street Outlaws America's List season 2 filming.
Down in the video below, I give you the behind-the-scenes look at what exactly it means to constantly be at work, trying to perfect a racing set up to go out there and throw down on a consistent basis.

One of the aspects that some people may not appreciated enough is that when you are racing all the time like us in different kinds of formats with the same car, its just how much we work behind the scenes.
Naturally, almost every racer is trying to get their car to go faster. Being able to make upgrades is pretty awesome but if you're racing on a couple of different surfaces like that at No Prep Kings and the street as well, you can't just add power and go. Instead, the setup needs to be tailored for just about every surface in question and it's a constant battle. Usually, a car isn't just set up for one particular race and left to go but instead, it's a constant work in progress as updates are always being made.
You get to watch that battle unfold from the driver seat of Goliath. In this one, I give you the rundown of just some of the trials and tribulations of what it means to go back-and-forth between NPK and the street. Naturally, they are two very different places to race with different combinations necessary.
Sure, a no-prep race like NPK is certainly going to provide a challenge with a lack of traction. However, racing on the street is an entirely different ball game as it provides even less traction and a more raw surface.
I give you the rundown of an outing I took to Wichita Raceway Park to do a little bit of testing. During the test session, I was trying to pull some power out of the car and make some new tunes to change things up a little bit for upcoming street races on the America's List show. In the process, though, I ended up breaking just a couple of things.
Sometimes situations like this can really test how much patiences I have, LOL!

If there's one thing that us Street Outlaws cars go through, it's tires.
At the end of the day, racing around the country on all sorts of different surfaces requires a good bit of meat underneath the car. That means spending the big bucks on making sure that we have the right rubber to get the job done, only to go and burn that rubber up in the heat of competition. It's naturally one of the most necessary evils when it comes to spending money on a race car.
While a good amount of the rubber ends up being laid down on the racing surface, there's a lot of it that goes other places as well. One of the struggles of owning a race car is trying to figure out how to dispose of all of the stray melted rubber that ends up stuck underneath the vehicle as well.
Tune in as I give you the rundown on exactly how much rubber ends up stuck under Goliath. In addition to showing you how I get all of the rubber out of the inner fenders and off of the car, I actually go ahead and weigh it, because everybody has been asking and is just down right curious about just how much weight this extra rubber might add.
Hope you enjoy this one, because it's definitely one of those neat behind-the-scenes videos that you're not going to want to miss.
"Ever wonder how much rubber builds up in the back of Goliath after all my big smokey burnouts? Well, today I'm going to show you where all the rubber builds up, how to get it off the car, and we will weigh it together to see just how much build-up there is after a few passes! Any guesses on weight? Comment down below before you watch the video."

Tune into my YouTube channel to check out a little something that I have in store for my wife. A while back, I came across this Pontiac Trans Am in pretty nice condition, I couldn't help but jump on the deal. However, the one condition here was that the car was going to need an engine as the current engine had a broken rod.
Unlike a lot of Trans Ams that one would find on the market, this one had been relatively untouched. As cars get older and have a community behind them who like to modify, one is going to find that most of the examples you run into are either beaten on to the point where they aren't worth fixing or that they have been modified to the point where it's going to be a headache to get them to be reliable. In this case, we run into a machine where neither of the above applies and a fresh engine will have this Pontiac on the move again.
Down in the video below, take a ride with me as the Pontiac breathes new life once again. In place of the original engine, I decided to go with a 6.0L LS setup. Along the way, you might learn a couple of things about what makes these cars special and how I decided that I wanted to dial this one in just right for Cassi.
At the end of the day, this rig needed a little bit of TLC. However, it wasn't very long before the car ended up becoming a pretty awesome ride for her.

in the No Prep Kings street car class.
With a couple of updates to make sure the truck fit the rules along with a gear change to take this thing from highway monster to track monster, it should be just about ready to roll.
I take you along for the ride to put the final touches on the S10 at the one and only FuelTech. While tuning might be just a couple of taps of the keyboard away, it certainly proves to be one of the most important parts of pulling together a racing machine. In fact, it can take a good build and push it to "great" status!
Be sure to look out for more of my S10 in the daily driver class because as we know this thing is a beast!
